Kopron won the tender for the development, supply and installation of 90 carports in the Car Rental with Driver car park in the Leonardo da Vinci airport of Fiumicino (Rome). The shelters created have been designed and made to measure, according to the specific technical requirements of the customer. The supporting structure made from galvanised steel is sized for the exact location of installation. The covering panel consists of a windproof and anti-hail shade net. The galvanizing process is the best possible solution to guarantee against oxidation and wear.
The large car park consists of single and double parking spaces. The single parking spaces are of the following dimensions: height 2.5 m, length 5.084 and width 3 m. The double parking spaces are 10 m. long, 3 m. wide and 2.5 m. high. Apart from the car canopies, protection canopies have also been designed for the ticket collection areas.
