Retha, a big company handling distribution centers in Brazil, chose Kopron do Brasil to optimize logistic flows in a new area dedicated to storage at Cotia – Sao Paolo. Loading/unloading systems and sectional doors of latest generation were exclusively made by Kopron to allow easy and safe storage operations carried out every day. This new distribution center is the logististic pole of a well-know supermarket chain in Brazil. The goods are received, stored and daily distributed to selling points.

Kopron’s CEO Mario Vergani said “After years of experience we have gathered a team of professionals dedicated to integrated projects able to cooperate with customer meeting requests for unique and innovative products with special attention to architectural design quality and total respect of the environment thanks to products which aim to energy saving.

Kopron do Brasil supplied fifteen electro-hydraulic ramps with swinging lip, plus sectional doors with half-vertical opening. The ramps act as a slide connecting warehouse to truck for material flow, the sectional doors, thanks to the panels in CFC free expanded polyurethane, insulate thermally and acoustically. Sliding guides of the doors perfectly fit into the building height. The doors are motorized enabling quick opening/closing movements keeping temperature stable.

To have an idea on how big this new distribution center is (10.000 m2) you may consider the size of these loading/unloading systems: each sectional door is 3,60m tall and each ramp is 4m2  and 50 cm thick. All sectional doors carry airplane style vision panels exclusively designed by Kopron, and offer and excellent visibility both towards inside and outside.

Retha, distributes goods in all the Brazilian territory serving hundreds of customers.

“This fructuous cooperation with Retha is only the first of a long series” said  Kopron do Brasil  General Manager Giacomo Niccolai“distribution centers are becoming a strong point for the economy of Sao Paolo, and our industrial reality is ready to face the challenge with passion and team spirit”.
